Visitors to the Peace Country will find a wealth of information about the region at Centre 2000. In fact, any person looking for ‘what do to’ will find all the info they need courtesy of the Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association. From finding a relaxing place to unwind all the way to finding a unique adventure, the GPRTA staff will provide valuable insights, and visitors can browse through hundreds of books, brochures and maps to take along on their travels.
During Grande Prairie’s long summer days, Centre 2000 provides longer opening hours to accommodate tourists and locals alike. Twice weekly, visitors to Grande Prairie—along with curious locals—can catch the Rotary Bus Tour, which takes interested passengers around the city on a circuit around the city. The Bus Tour combined with a visit to the tourism centre to grab a fistful of brochures is the perfect way to become acquainted with all the Peace Country has to offer.
